Former Naval intelligence briefing officer William Cooper assembled in this book his lectures, reproduced documents, and claims about secret government programs, UFO cover-ups, and plans for a one-world government. Published by Light Technology Publishing in 1991, it became one of the biggest-selling underground books of its era, passed hand to hand in prisons and far beyond them. Whatever readers make of its claims, it remains the defining text of modern American conspiracy literature.
