Finch, a physician and scholar, explores ancient African — especially Egyptian and Nubian — mythology, medicine, and cosmology, tracing echoes of Nile Valley thought in cultures across the continent and diaspora. A bridge between his medical work and his lifelong study of classical African civilizations.
